Where the map runs out

We run private expeditions for founders and investors. Two routes are open to international guests: Patagonia by 4×4 in December, the Amazon by expedition ship in April.

Patagonia by 4×4

Thirteen days across the Andes, between the Argentine steppe and the Chilean fjords.

You drive. The convoy moves on gravel and ripio between estancias and camps, crossing the range more than once, with weather that turns inside an hour. In late December the southern sky barely goes dark — over seventeen hours of usable light, and the days run long because they can.

Connectivity is thin for most of the route. That is not an inconvenience we apologise for; it is why the conversations at the end of each day go where they do.

Expedition ship · full comfort

The Amazon by expedition ship

From Belém, where the largest river on earth meets the Atlantic, into the delta — then back out to open ocean.

A boutique expedition vessel: panoramic cabins, a spa over the water, a chef's kitchen. Zodiacs take the group into channels no larger ship can enter — villages built on stilts above the river, sections of delta with no road access at all, and colonial ports where the seventeenth-century street plan is still standing.

Before you ask

Questions we get

Who is this for?

Owners and investors who travel well and are past the stage of wanting a tour. The group is assembled, not sold: every place is confirmed after a short conversation, on both sides.

What language does the programme run in?

The expedition team, the ship's crew and all local guides work in Russian and English. Tell us which you prefer when you apply and we'll confirm the arrangement for your dates.

Do I need to be in any particular shape?

There is no age limit and we ask for no medical clearance. Patagonia asks for stamina rather than fitness: long days at the wheel, altitude, weather that turns inside an hour. The Amazon is comfortable — Zodiac landings are optional, and there is always something else happening on board.

Do I need a visa?

It depends on your passport. Brazil, Suriname and French Guiana each set their own rules, and Argentina and Chile theirs. Once your place is confirmed we send a document checklist built for your specific nationality, with enough lead time to act on it.

Are vaccinations required for the Amazon?

Yellow fever vaccination is required or strongly advised for parts of the route, and there are other recommendations depending on where you're travelling from. We send the full medical brief months ahead so you can take it to your own doctor.

How do I get there?

Flights are not included, but we plan the connections with you. Patagonia runs through Buenos Aires, then an internal flight south. For the Amazon, Belém connects via Lisbon or the Brazilian hubs, and Bridgetown has direct returns to London, New York and Miami. We build in a spare day either side of the programme.

Will I have a signal?

The ship has internet on board; it drops out in the delta. In Patagonia there is no coverage for most of the route — which is the point. The conversations at the end of the day go somewhere else without it.

What is included in the price?

On the Amazon: the cabin, all meals and drinks on board, every landing and excursion, the business programme, the expedition team, transfers on the route, and the photography. International flights are separate.

Can I bring my partner?

Yes, and most people do. Cabins and vehicles are priced on double occupancy, and partners join the full programme rather than a parallel one.

How does booking work?

Send a request, we send the detailed programme and current availability, then a call. Places are held against a deposit, under a contract with the operating company; the balance schedule depends on how far out you are.
